Route 66
There are two ways to go from Kingman to Seligman (Arizona). On I-40 one can cover the 75 miles in just a little over an hour. Historic Route 66 was the only option "back in the day." The distance is 100 miles and takes approximately two hours and forty-five minutes. That doesn't include time to stop for photos or for an ice cream cone at the Snow Cap. The first two photos in this gallery were taken on a section of Route 66 in California.
Other photo galleries from this trip included the Phoenix Zoo, Joshua Tree National Park (California), The Arboretum at Flagstaff, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona to Phoenix, and Watson Lake.
